The Hofstra chapter of PRSSA invited me to speak on a panel titled “Meet the Media” at their conference “Back to Basics” this month. We spoke about trends in media and how it directly affects the public relations world. The intimate crowd allowed for engaging and information discussion about the topic.

Prior to Hofstra’s men’s basketball game against UNC-Wilmington on Saturday, February 25, a book signing was held for Chris Vaccaro’s latest work, “Hofstra Athletics,” published by Arcadia.

The book became officially available in January and chronicles a complete history of Hofstra athletics dating back to the school’s inception in 1935.

The book captures nearly 200 images of Hofstra sports history dating back to 1935 when the University first opened.
