My fiance and I took Europe by storm, visiting eight countries in 19 days, getting engaged and ending at the Summer Olympics in London, where we watched the first Olympic athlete from Sachem compete in the games.
For a trip that was planned a year in advance, it came quickly and ended just as fast. Every moment was a moment of excitement and anticipation. Our first journey on the other side of the pond was a success and now our last.
The countries (in order): France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Holland, Belgium, England.
Highlights: Getting engaged under the Eifel Tower as it began to sparkle and watching Maria Michta compete in the Olympics.
